Welcome to the Reproductive Bioengineering Lab, based within the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London and led by Dr. Anna Stejskalova. We are advancing research at the intersection of cell biology, bioengineering, and women's reproductive health. Our mission is to understand the physiological and pathological biological processes behind human reproduction, pregnancy and ageing that were previously inaccessible to direct observation. By designing and utilizing state-of-the-art microfluidic and organoid models, we strive to bridge the gap between basic reproductive biology and clinical translation, offering new hope for diagnosing and treating complex women's health conditions.
